First race of the season took place on 4th october 2013.
A morning with thick fog and very humid day throughout. A lot of riders showed and Motocross is picking up pace here again in Dubai. The Clubman class looked busy, meaning a lot of riders came to try to race motocross. Hopefully they got hooked onto the great sport of motocross.
A good 80 riders showed to the races and gave it all they had. Dubai Motocross race venues are well catered with Ambulance support, Organic food cafe, manufacturer representation and a international standard track. Not to mention the great effort from all volunteers who put their soul and energy into the mx scene in Dubai.
Sam Sunderland was in town and pulled a strong 1st place in MX1 and Ross Runnalls dominated MX2. Masters taken by Shannon, 125cc by Erik Landgren, Quads by Obaid Al Kitbe, 65cc by Eugenio and 85cc by Nick Kefford.
Fastest laptimes was by Sam Sunderland in MX1, 1.47,7min per lap. Reference time for faster riders is normally 2min a lap and goes to around 2.30min for other classes.
